Heavy lifting & Positioning
Hydroton’s technology and innovative solutions have been successfully used in infrastructural projects and civil constructions for years. With the use of our hydraulic drives systems (prefab) tunnels are pushed into position, viaducts jacked up, steel structures moved or heavy concrete elements pushed through a factory on a daily basis. Thanks to the synchronisation between the hydraulic cylinders, the accuracy, speed and positioning of the movement are perfectly manageable and can be viewed by the operator in real-time.
Unique software and hardware
By using unique synchronisation software and hardware, the hydraulic cylinders move together regardless of the force to which they are exposed. Even if this means a different working pressure per cylinder. With our experience we design the best system to suit your needs. We then produce and install this system on-site. And after commissioning, our service technicians will be there to assist you when needed. This is how your challenge becomes our challenge!

Heavy lifting and skidding systems
Hydroton is your partner in electro-hydraulic drives and in recent years has supplied tailor-made solutions for various large parties in Europe for moving, immersing, prestressing and jacking large steel or concrete structures. These heavy objects are often made on location and are moved to the right place overnight or during a weekend to minimize traffic disruption as much as possible.
Precision hydraulics
By combining a high-pressure hydraulic system with a working pressure of 700 bar with highly accurate sensors, software and hardware, Hydroton is able to design a reliable and safe motion control system which works on 0,3mm accuracy. In addition to the design and production of the power packs, Hydroton is also experienced in the design and construction of high pressure (locknut) jacks and all types of hydraulic cylinders. Because our service team is highly skilled in both hydraulics and control technology, a smooth start-up and further progress of your project is guaranteed at all times.

Adaptive outriggers
High-rise buildings are the future and a way for large cities to keep developing themselves. The Iris Tower in Brussels (BE) has a unique design, made to withstand heavy winds and at the same time absorb settlement differences. In this design, ‘adaptive outriggers’ combine a cushioning function with freedom of movement.
Double-acting dampers
Hydroton was approached during the design stage of the building and asked to design and build dampers that could meet the strict safety requirements and the challenging interplay of forces. We developed a series of hydraulic double-acting dampers that absorb the movement both inwards and outwards, with the same force and speed. These have been installed on the 16th floor of the 137 meter high government building. In addition to damping vibrations and movements, the damper automatically adjusts itself to compensate for settlement differences that occur over the years.
